Tabadol

NAWAEM “All the beautiful things a woman has”

Tabadol’s purpose is to create a socio-educational space for personal and community development, for people in situation of vulnerability, marginalisation or social exclusion. Specifically they work for the empowerment and autonomy of women in the town. Tabadol is located in La Cañada Real, a 16 km illegal settlement next to Madrid.

The project aims to develop a participatory artistic project to give voice and visibility to the stories of women in La Cañada Real. Also, it carries out cultural actions to show the empowerment and lives of migrant, disabled, abused, segregated and gypsy women from the town.
