Sindicato OTRAS

Sindicato OTRAS is an organisation founded in 2018 by a group of sex workers with the aim of acting as interlocutors with political parties, institutions and employers. Their main mission is to guarantee the labor, social and human rights of sex workers in Spain.

The project’s goal is to prevent gender-based violence among sex workers with an intersectional perspective. The main actions are visits in the working places to provide information, legal assessment and trainings according to their needs. For example: immigration regularization for migrant women and LBTIQ+, self-defense, sexual violence prevention, etc.
