Rromane Glasura – Veus Gitanes

Walking together

Veus Gitanes was established with the aim of making visible the voice of gypsy women to promote equality and contribute to combating prejudices and stereotypes of gypsy culture from a gender and intersectional perspective.

The project “Walking together” seeks to generate training and meetings between grassroots gypsy women’s organisations and public administration in order to improve social intervention in the prevention and awareness of violence against gypsy women. In addition, it provides training opportunities to administration professionals and organisations in order to eradicate the homogenization of interventions and the anti-gypsy stereotypes and prejudices.
