Rowni Roma Italy

This project addresses gender-based violence (GBV) among Roma women in Italy, Greece, Bosnia, and Croatia, who face triple discrimination: as Roma, as foreigners, and as women within patriarchal communities. Partner organizations will conduct research on GBV through interviews in local Roma communities, implement grassroots prevention practices, and collectively produce a comprehensive report.

An international meeting in Serbia will share findings, followed by awareness sessions in each country. This project aims to empower Roma women and provide organizations with tools to address GBV while respecting Roma cultural identity.
