REDHMI is an organisation that emerged from the need to come together to transform and make visible the stories and lives of Honduran women residing in Spain. Their main aim is the defense of human rights of migrant women and trans; specially health, citizen and political participation, housing, and labor among others. They do so through direct accompaniment and political advocacy.
The project aims to strengthen their care and support work for migrant women victims of violence, reorganising the care services and reinforcing the knowledge of the team so that they can provide a better service and support. The projects includes direct accompaniment to migrant cis and trans women, training and workshops on prevention of gender-based violence and a three-day meeting.
