Muyeres Pachamama

Women who take care of themselves, migrations free of gender-based violence

Muyeres Pachamama is an organisation founded in 2018 by migrant women living in the region of Asturias. The organisation was born with the aim of making visible the daily struggle of migrant women against discrimination, labor exploitation, racism and gender-based violence that permeate the lives of migrant women and their families.

The objective of “Women who take care of themselves” is that survivors of GbV are accompanied in their needs, deciding themselves the steps for reparation and justice. For that, Muyeres Pachamama’s project aims to accompany women, both individually and collectively, in the reconstruction of of their lives through the participation in a safe space and mutual support and learning.
