Mujeres Voces y Resistencias is an association made up of diverse migrant and racialized women in the city of Valencia. They seek to denounce the violence that invades their lives and, above all, to make visible through their voices, the resistance and networks that they create together.
The project seeks to establish and strengthen support networks for migrant women in Valencia, focusing on prevention of gender-based violence. The project includes rotating labs which address topics like personal autonomy, cultural identity and violence prevention, providing a safe and supportive space. Also, open dialogues to discuss relevant topics such as gender rights and care, and art and craft workshops.
