Malen Etxea

Malen Etxea is an association of migrant women. The organization’s objective is the defense of migrant women rights, particularly it focuses on domestic and care workers. Malen Etxea has two shelters for 12 migrant women who, due to specific conditions from the migratory context, are unable to access adequate room/housing.

The aim of the project is to provide migrant women with psychosocial support tailored to their needs so that they can heal and gain more autonomy. They will provide prevention trainings of sexual abuse in the working spaces, and will do advocacy and communication actions like the projection of a short film.
