Refuge House “Amina’s House”

The “Amina” Refuge House project in Rome provides temporary sanctuary for women and children escaping violence. Due to the shortage of specialized shelter spaces, many women are forced to stay in non-specialized facilities, risking further harm. This refuge aims to offer a secure, gender-sensitive environment for victims to start their recovery journey.

The project targets around 100 women and 130 children over 24 months, promoting healing, empowerment, and mutual support. Continuous monitoring, team self-assessment, and specific performance indicators will be used to evaluate its success and adjust as needed to ensure positive outcomes.
