This action-research project, “Cyberfeminism and Collective Resistance to Misogynistic and Anti-Rights Discourses,” addresses the rising cyberviolence and censorship that silence feminist voices online. As social platforms incubate sexist and extremist content, feminist activists face harassment, censorship, and burnout.
This project aims to build a cyberactivist community to document and analyze online violence, censorship, and other challenges for marginalized feminist creators. By gathering data and forming coalitions, this project will advocate for protections under the Digital Services Act and support solidarity networks for cyberfeminists to counteract silencing tactics.
