Brod group for women’s human rights

This program offers free legal aid and safe shelter for women and children victims of domestic violence in Croatia, regardless of background. Around 50-55 people will live in the shelter, while 200-250 women will access legal counseling annually. The shelter provides accommodation, food, hygiene, and emotional support, with a stay averaging 4-9 months.

Counselors aid in recovery, job readiness, and support workshops. Legal aid and phone counseling ensure anonymity and confidentiality. Public campaigns, street actions, and media outreach will be organised to raise awareness on domestic violence.
