Associació de Dones Africanes de Tarragona

Dones Africanes de Tarragona is an association of black african women who come from Gambia, Senegal, Mali, Guinea Ecuatorial and Nigeria. They gather together to face and combat all types of violence that they receive from their multiplicity of identities and realities. They do so through mutual support, solidarity, love and respect for their own communities.

With the project they want to open a safe space with an antiracist and decolonial perspective in order to collectively heal the trauma of African women and to create a network of care. For that, they will develop in-person community activities to contribute to erradicate the violence black african women suffer.
