About SEEChange Project illustration

SEE Change is a project that aims to promote a world free of gender-based violence, and is led by Calala Women’s Fund, Ecumenical Women’s Initiative and Mediterranean Women’s Fund.

The main strategies from the project are: to support small and medium-sized local organizations with economic grants, develop capacity building and networking actions. SEE Change focuses on grassroots feminist and women’s organizations with limited access to funding.

SEE Change is implemented in 9 countries of the South and East of Europe (SEE region): Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Kosovo, Serbia and Spain.

Specifically, SEE Change has supported 59 organisations with grants between EUR 10,000 and EUR 60,000, with a total amount granted of EUR 1,813,966. From the 250 projects that applied for a grant, 24% were funded.
