The SAFE CONNECTIONS project addresses online and offline violence affecting youth aged 14-17, with a focus on the disproportionate impact on young women and girls. It aims to document technology-facilitated gender-based violence and understand its prevalence, impact, and risk factors.

Through surveys, interviews, and an online message board, the project gathers youth perspectives on violence and prevention. Findings will inform policy, update MIGS’s educational resources, and shape prevention efforts to safeguard young people, particularly young women and girls, from escalating forms of GBV in Cyprus.
